A distinctive singer/songwriter, Jimmy Holiday co-wrote Jackie DeShannon's "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" but also recorded several hits of his own. While recording for Everest during the mid-'60s, he scored with 1963's "How Can I Forget," a Top Ten R&B hit and a pop entry as well, which is included in this classic album of Everest singles
