Jimmy Carroll arranged and conducted this assortment of high-impact percussion ensembles. Nine percussionists congregated to play orchestra bells, pitched drums, cowbells, vibraphone, brake drum, snare drum, gong, chimes, tympani, xylophone, siren, slapstick, hand bells, harp, other assorted toys and even the more unusual "buzzimba" (a marimba-like keyboard with wooden resonators that buzz, causing a melodic buzzing noise much like a kazoo). with ample gong hits, the pieces alternate between being melodic and being battery-dominated. This is your chance to hear a rag on the xylophone or blues on the "camp clavichord."
