I grew up listening to Nat King Cole sing Route 66 and years later hung out with it's writer, Bobby Troup in L. A. I loved George Burns rendition of I Wish I Was 18 Again and Louis Armstrong's masterpiece, What A Wonderful World so I recorded these 3 cover tunes. The other nine songs on this CD, I either wrote or co-wrote. I hope that you enjoy them all. JR.
