Composer/producer/performer JG Thirlwell's Music of The Venture Bros Volume Three is drawn from seasons 1-7. His unique and influential score for The Venture Bros. Television series has garnered widespread critical acclaim. He was nominated for an Annie Award (the highest honor in the field of animation) for his "outstanding achievement in music" on The Venture Bros in 2016. He created the musical score for the show since it's debut in 2003 until it finished it's run with Season 7 in 2019. The Venture Bros returned in 2023 with a movie for HBO, which Thirlwell also scored.The first volume of Venture Bros soundtracks was released in 2009 and the second was released in 2016. JG Thirlwell works under many pseudonyms including Manorexia, Foetus, Xordox, Steroid Maximus, Baby Zizanie, Hydroze Plus, Clint Ruin and Wiseblood. He has released over forty albums. If there is a common thread to his varied musical styles, it is a dramatic intensity and an evocative, cinematic quality. Thirlwell has also featured as producer, remixer, collaborator or arranger for a wide variety of artists including Karen O, Noveller, Zola Jesus, Helm, Mivos Quartet, Melvins, Swans, Nine Inch Nails, Lydia Lunch, Coil, Z's, The The, Simon Hanes, Tony Oursler, Nick Cave and many more.
