This is the 6th release from San Francisco-based singer/songwriter/guitar slinger/poet Jeffrey Halford. As a master purveyor of rootsy, bluesy rock with a pop sensibility, Halford and his band, the Healers (featuring Augie Meyers), shake the rafters, raise your consciousness, and sanctify your soul. Halford's is a uniquely American voice, authentic and timeless. Bruce Kaphan, longtime guitarist and producer of American Music Club, co-produced the album with Halford. Jeffrey also brought in the legendary Texas Music Hall of Famer Augie Meyers on keyboard, as well as Louisiana's own Kirk 'Jellyroll' Johnson on harmonica to assure that grooves would be raucous and greasy.
