In the wake of a horrific car crash, Beck rebounded with "Rough and Ready" ('71) and the Steve Cropper-produced "Jeff Beck Group" ('72). On those two LPs, he fused rock with jazz and soul; he took the approach yet further on his 1975 George-Martin produced masterpiece "Blow by Blow," a #4 LP in the U.S. (his biggest hit). This set also includes his 1976 fusion gem "Wired" (with Jan Hammer and Narada Michael Walden) and 1977's "With the Jan Hammer Group Live." This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
