Maurice Jarre was an outstanding composer of French film music and his original soundtracks became a household word in films for the entire second half of the twentieth century. This selection of music from Olivier Julien looks back on Jarre's early period when he was the young music director of Jean Vilar's TNP in Paris. But he also put his name to his first hit in Hollywood. He wrote for Georges Franju, Jean Pierre Mocky and Gérard Oury among others in France, and came to international attention with his music for "The Longest Day." It was a key period for the composer who went on to work with David Lean, Alfred Hitchcock, Luchino Visconti and Clint Eastwood among others.

Very easy to purchase this special copy of Rolling Stone magazine.
I bought it for the BTS interview and pictures and I am not disappointed! The interviews with each member are thoughtful and good. I only wish I could purchase the special edition 8 magazine set.
Haven't watched it yet; I buy LOTS of movies, and it can be weeks, even months, before I get to this one. I like the main actress, having seen her in 2 other films, and was glad to see she's also in one of the other 2 films I ordered from you. All 3 arrived in EXCELLENT condition!!
