Iota Arcane - Lophy Cacophony [CD]

Born and raised in Southern California. Hip Hop is my life blood. Started banging on drums in 5th grade and since then it has been on. The lophy cacophony is a collection of beats from the last 10 years compiled into a audible sonic mosaic, paying special attention to the lo-fi sounds that I grew up on. Constructed with the Ensoniq EPS, Akai MPC 1000, Roland SP 404, Yamaha QY70, Boss DR 202, Boss DR 770, Roland TR 727, Roland R8, Korg MS 2000B, Korg MPS, Korg Electribe, Roland 220A and a plethora of samples. Lophy was my response to Hyphy. Being that the Hyphy movement was started in Northern California and consisted of High Qualtiy sounds, Lophy is the Lo-fi sounds of the south. Passion, blood, sweat and tears were put into this project. I designed the album cover and it took 15 hours straight.
