Gagaku is a type of Japanese classical music that has been performed at the Imperial court for several centuries. The oldest classical music in Japan, Gagaku was introduced into Japan with Buddhism from the Korean Peninsula. Wind, string and percussion instruments are essential elements of Gagaku music. This recording is an excellent example of this ancient, yet elegant music. Digitally remastered.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
