Ice Nine Kills bandleader Spencer Charnas had always injected his love of horror films into his band’s music, but the slasher fan took this to a whole new level with INK’s trajectory-changing The Silver Scream.
The vocalist started singing from the perspective of on-screen baddies like Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers, while the rest of the group gleefully gored through elements of metalcore, ska and Broadway theatricality.
