A huge influence on a generation of rock n' rollers, New Orleans R&B pianist Huey Smith formed Huey 'Piano' Smith and the Clowns with blues singer and female impersonator Bobby Marchan in 1957 and went on to record a string of hits. Among the many hits was a breakout Top Five R&B hit entitled "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu". The record was issued as "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu Part 1" on the "A" side, (a vocal) and "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu Part 2", an instrumental, on the flip. Presented here is that original single, newly re-mastered.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
