HOT CHICKENS is certainly today the oldest Rockabilly Trio in France... The group was born in 1999. There are 6 studio albums in their discography. Usually 'Tribute' to their idols Gene Vincent, Little Richard, Johnny Burnette and Buddy Holly. But the 6th album is a new direction for the group. A mix of original compositions with more 60's and Blues Rock sounds. Unexpected covers with Rockabilly Old-School sauce for 'Take On Me' by A-Ha, 'L'hymne à l'Amour' by Piaf. A more Garage and Psycho direction with 'Surfin' Bird' and 'Unchained Melody' which usually close the concerts. And a faithful and very Rock'n'Roll cover of 'Repose Beethoven' (Eddy Mitchell).
Tracklist:
- It Surely Ain't the Rolling Stones
