When star Jackie Gleason was given his own show the following year on CBS-TV, he took his creation of the Honeymooners with him. Through 1957, dozens of classic comedy sketches followed, featuring beleaguered Brooklyn bus driver Ralph Kramden, his suffering wife Alice and their best friends, sewer worker Ed Norton and ex-dancer Trixie. The Honeymooners Lost Episodes are a selection of rare sketches that originally aired only once on the live telecasts of "The Jackie Gleason Show" from 1952-1957 and were preserved only as kinescope films.
