The contest was the inspiration for the hit NBC show the Sing-Off which has brought even more interest to the art of a cappella singing. Winners of the eight regional competitions are flown to the bay area to compete in the national finals and this 2 CD release features the 25th annual contest plus a second CD featuring a selection of the top performances from the first 25 years.
