Navona Records presents SCENES FROM A LIFE, a collection of works from composer Monika Gurak for piano and vibraphone. Featuring pianists Scott Downing and Emma Collette Moss with vibraphonist Michael Davidson, 15 Humoresques composed with a dash of wit evoke smiles from it's listeners. From here, Downing and Moss perform together on a single piano simultaneously using piano four hands, interpreting works inspired by Gurak's everyday life. Traces of her Polish-Canadian ethnicity surface in My Country, extensive studies in Spanish linguistics speak through Romance sonámbulo, and humor is sprinkled throughout, resulting in a playful and personal collection of music.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
