The Grouch is an independent legend - literally. As one of the founding members of the west-coast rap collective, Living Legends. He has been able to cement his place as a fixture for the past 20+ years as an indpendent artist. He has been quiet over the past few years as a solo artist, rather choosing to collaborate with his Living Legend crew member, Eligh. This album, Unlock the Box serves as his first official solo release since 2009's Three Eyes Off The Tme. The album features a familiar cast of characters such as Myka 9, Eligh, Scarub, Gift of Gab, YMTK and his daughter, Rio Amor.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
