Based in Amsterdam in the Netherlands, the Global Village Orchestra has ten members representing eight different nationalities. It's music draws from Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Gypsy traditions as well as contemporary Eurojazz, producing a pulsating, rhythmic and compelling sound. Instrumentation ranges from Oud, flute, bass, sax, violin, drums, percussion and voice. This CD is being released in Europe by the Dutch label, LopLop, and in North America by Random Chance.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
I think it is a great CD. I enjoy listing to it and others CD's from the 60's and 70'
