Gary Lynn Burt - I'm on a Journey [CD]

I grew up listening to the pop and country music of the early 50's, then graduated to the rock-a-billy sounds of Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly and the like. I then experienced the folk music of the late 50's and early 60's. The next big thing that came along was the Beatles, who took all of my earlier influences, and combined them to create the next direction music would take. I find that I am like Bob Dylan, in that I am a funnel who takes in everything musical that comes my way. I then combine it, and it comes out me. My CD will give you a glimpse of all of all of the influences I have come into contact with except the rock and roll influences. My first CD is an acoustically based CD. I will be putting out a rock and roll CD as soon as I can.
