Two CD reissue of this compilation from the Jazz great. Gary Burton is widely regarded as one of the top two vibes players in Jazz (along side Milt Jackson). He issued numerous critically acclaimed albums on the Atlantic label in the 1970s. Turn of the Century is a "best of" collection of his finest Atlantic recordings, originally issued as a two record set in 1976. It features Eric Gale, Jerry Hahn, Richard Tee, Steve Swallow, Keith Jarrett, and Stephanie Grappelli.
