In the late 1950's and early 1960's, American youth discovered the joys of folk music and this renaissance continued into the 1970's when folk rock was born. This collection gathers tracks from a wide array of artists from the era including Barry McGuire, Odetta, Hoyt Axton, Barbara Dane, Roger McGuinn, Melanie, and even jazz cat Howard Roberts was bitten by the folk bug. All 17 tracks have been newly remastered for this collection.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
