Art Austin, Tony Middleton, Darryl Grant and Doug Jones carry on the legacy started by drummer Fat Larry James in 1976. Formed in Philadelphia, Fat Larry's Band released nine albums on labels such as WMOT Records, Fantasy, Virgin and Omni Records within a decade. Their biggest hits were "Act Like You Know," "Zoom," "Looking For Love." As a result of James', who also played with the The Delfonics and Blue Magic and managed the group Slick, untimely passing in 1987, the band folded. With the blessing of Doris Jones, Fat Larry's Band returns with this new single that pays homage to the past while carving a path to a bright and soulful future.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
