Thirty-five years ago, a prophesy went forth to Bishop David and Evangelist Ella Purnell that their unborn daughter would minister the Gospel through spoken word and song. It was said then that if she was to remain obedient to God and allow His gift to be used through her, many would be saved, healed, and delivered. Born the fifth of six siblings, Evangelist Eunice Wright was destined for ministry. At the early age of five, she sang her first solo in a children's program at her family church. As she sang "Lord Make Me an Instrument," she didn't fully understand the anointing God placed inside of her. She had no idea of what her life's journey would entail because she asked the Lord to make her an instrument. What she thought was a simple song was actually her heart's desire. Since, God has continued to make her into the woman He designed for her to be, and she has yielded herself to be the vessel He desires for her to be. God's anointing lives in her, His mercy covers her, and His favor always finds her. Eunice has shared her gift of song with others all over the East Coast. She has appeared alongside many of Gospel's greats including Vicki Winans, Beverly Crawford, Pastor Marvin Sapp, and Dr. Rance Allen. She sings with an energetic and boisterous style and allows God to use her however He chooses. Because of that, everywhere she goes, reports are received of how God performed miracles and brought deliverance to those who have heard her voice. She has truly seen the prophesy that was spoken over her life come to pass. In March 2008, Eunice recorded her debut album entitled, "Wait On Me" with Joyful Noyze Entertainment. This was a life long dream for her and God connected her with the right people to make it happen. The songs you hear on this project are created to bring inspiration, encouragement, and hope in the time of pain and despair. She can and will tell you that though she's been through the storms of life, God is indeed the source of her joy and strength to overcome all adversity. Not only is Eunice a singer/songwriter, God has also anointed her to minster to Word of God to His people. Evangelist Eunice Wright strives to be a light shining in darkness, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She continues to stand as a woman after God's own heart - one of perpetual praise and heartfelt worship.
