Dr. Heinrich Weiss was able to purchase the Welte Philharmonie Organ - the so-called Britannic Organ - for his collection in 1969. He later acquired music rolls from the Welte company along with the world's only performance recording device made by the Welte Company currently in existence. On this disc, organists Eugene Gigout and Joseph Bonnet perform their works.
