The Crossroads Guitar Festival has become one of the rare events where the guitar's past, present, and future share the same stage, and the 2023 edition at Crypto.com Arena may be the most stacked lineup yet. Spread across 48 tracks and six slabs of vinyl, it captures a multigenerational conversation between artists who trace their roots to the blues and those actively pushing the music forward. For anyone who cares about where guitar-driven music has been and where it's headed, this document is essential.
Limited six vinyl LP pressing. Eric Clapton, one of the world's pre-eminent blues/rock guitarists, once again summoned an all-star team of six-string heroes for his seventh Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2023. Held at the Crypto. Com Arena in Los Angeles, California, the two-day concert event raised funds for the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, the chemical dependency treatment and education facility that Clapton founded in 1998. With actor Bill Murray as the Master of Ceremonies, the 2023 festival featured outstanding performances by Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr. , Sheryl Crow, Eric Gales, H. E. R. , Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Los Lobos, John Mayer, The Marcus King Band, Roger McGuinn, John McLaughlin, Santana, The Wallflowers, and many more.
