This rare compilation features artists that were extremely popular in Cuba in the 1950's and went on to become Cuban music legends. Originally released in the mid-1960's in America, the wonderful performances collected here were recorded in Havana between 1955 and 1959. Featuring the piano virtuoso Frank Emilio Flynn, legendary singer and composer Maria Teresa Vera, the family singing group Los Ruffino and the great Afro-Cuban singer Paulina Alvarez. All selections newly re-mastered.
