Eddie Kendricks - with his sweet voice and smile - was the Temptations' 2nd lead voice with David Ruffin and later Dennis Edwards. He left in '71 for a solo career; with most of his LPs produced by Motown vet Frank Wilson, Kendricks became a solo star in the '70s with the #1 Pop and R&B hits "Keep on Truckin'," "Boogie Down" and "Shoeshine Boy." This Ultimate set contains Eddie's Tamla/Motown Top 40 solo hits; full-length versions offered together for the very 1st time.
