On this new release, the Doric String Quartet turns to the music of Franz Schubert. It is the Quartet's fifth solid release for Chandos. MusicWeb International said of the recent Korngold release, 'The Doric Quartet seem to have a Midas touch, and any repertoire they commit to disc comes out sparkling'. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
