This is the first physical CD that comprehensively compiles the best of Donnie Brooks' recordings, including records he made under other names. The CD includes the rock 'n' roll song that started his career, 'Bertha Lou', recorded as Johnny Faire as well as 'Mission Bell' and 'Doll House', both of which made the U.S. Top 40 and 'Memphis' which was also a hit in Australia. Included in the collection are several songs that only appeared on Brooks' ERA label LP in 1961. Among the wide variety of recordings he made are songs written by Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, Russ Regan, Ray Charles, Buck Ram & Al Nevins and Johnny Mercer. The six page booklet includes a biography of the artist, the state of the music business on the West Coast at the time, label scans, reviews and other contemporary items.

Very easy to purchase this special copy of Rolling Stone magazine.
I bought it for the BTS interview and pictures and I am not disappointed! The interviews with each member are thoughtful and good. I only wish I could purchase the special edition 8 magazine set.
Haven't watched it yet; I buy LOTS of movies, and it can be weeks, even months, before I get to this one. I like the main actress, having seen her in 2 other films, and was glad to see she's also in one of the other 2 films I ordered from you. All 3 arrived in EXCELLENT condition!!
