CLOSE TO HOME is the debut solo release from Donal Clancy. Donal is from An Rinn, Country Waterford, and comes from a very musical family (his father is internationally renowned folksinger Liam Clancy and Tommy make m fame). a multi-instrumentalist, Donal deft playing on guitar, 5-string banjo, bouzouki and mandolin adds new color and texture to Irish music. Well known in Irish music circles, Donal is a founding member of the young Irish band, Danu and has played with many different groups over the years, including the Clancy Brothers, Solas, Eileen Ivers and many more!

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
I think it is a great CD. I enjoy listing to it and others CD's from the 60's and 70'
