Dynamite Masters Blues Quartet are back, with Keenly, their 13th album since 1989, and first one over a decade. This time, the band used vintage mics, analog tech, and lots of amps to record themselves live, in tribute to the old-school hard rock that is their lifeblood. This reflects the inspiration of nature as well wind, water, sky, wild animals and human beings are all essential forces to them. DMBQ attempt to bring a great noise of natural sound into the world, playing with respect to the masters of rock, but also pushing beyond into places of abstraction, drone and freedom. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
