Diamond Watch Wrists is one of those special musical moments when artists serendipitously collide and combine their efforts to produce something inspired and unprovoked. Guillermo Scott Heron, a.k.a. Prefuse 73, crossed paths with Zach Hill, the drummer of Hella, and the two ended up collaborating on what would become ICE CAPPED AT BOTH ENDS. Psychedelic and personal, free and driven, complex and accessible, these songs are soaked in multi-leveled vocal harmonies atop atmospheric production and forward-moving drums.
