This is the fourth Sharp Nine release by nationally acclaimed (Sunday New York Times, NPR Morning Edition) singer/pianist Dena DeRose. It finds her working her arranging magic on Great American Songbook standards in the company of New York's finest jazz musicians, including Matt Wilson, Joe Locke, Peter Washington, Steve Davis, Brian Lynch and special guest Bill Charlap. She presents a haunting version of "I Thought About You," plus stunning arrangements for brass choir on "The Good Life" and "Lamp Is Low," as well as an instrumental paean to Marian McPartland, and finally a vocal and piano duet with Bill Charlap.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
