David Houston began his recording career in '63 as an Epic Records artist. He was successful from the start, with his first release (Mountain of Love) going to #2 on the country charts. David continued his success by celebrating his first hit in 1966 with the Billy Sherrill song, "Almost Persuaded." This collection highlights many of his top Epic hits: 67's "With One Exception," 68's "Have a Little Faith" and "A Woman Always Knows," and of course, "Almost Persuaded."
