Tom Darby and Jimmie Tarlton were early country music's most important and popular duo; the body of work they recorded for Columbia Records between 1927 and 1933 ranks among the most hallowed in old-time music. This 4-CD import includes such key tracks as Down in Florida on a Hog (later entitled Going down the Road Feeling Bad); Birmingham Town; Weaver's Blues; Ooze Up to Me; Roy Dixon; Birmingham Jail; Columbus Stockade Blues, and more, with the final disc devoted to sides recorded by Chris Bouchillon, who basically invented the talking blues with songs like I've Been Married Three Times. 88 tracks.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
