Violist Dana Zemtsov and pianist Anna Fedorova joined forces on Silhouettes. "Our upbringing was similar, and filled with Guy de Maupassant, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Georges Brassens, Édith Piaf, Charles Trenet. This could be a logical explanation for us both experiencing this sense of familiarity every time we cross the border to France." Each piece in this album has it's own story, it's own thoughts and feelings. However, throughout it, if you listen with your eyes closed, you will sense the presence of a furtive silhouette 'à la Française.'

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
