Damar Davis, the self-titled EP from LA-based artist and Salon Recordings founder, Damar Davis, is a concise exploration of the influences that are defining the modern West Coast house sound. It transports you to a realm of analog warmth. Crunchy kicks set into motion grooves that are emphasized by smooth bass lines and ghost rhythms, guided by clean synth chords, and seasoned with sensual vocal samples that bounce in echoes across the soundscape.
