D'amico,dargen - Doppia Mozzarella - Vinyl Record

"DOPPIA MOZZARELLA," the new album by Dargen d'Amico, featuring the track "AI AI," which competed at the 76th edition of the Sanremo Music Festival, marking the artist's third appearance at the event. On stage, D'Amico once again brought the sharp wit and irony that have always defined his music and songwriting, confirming his ability to use pop language as a space for reflection, blending formal lightness with deep content. The record is the result of two years of work and a methodical, in-depth reflection clearly expressed by it's title: ironic and immediate, yet rich in meaning. "DOPPIA MOZZARELLA" is used by Dargen d'Amico as a metaphor for contemporary life, constantly bombarded by stimuli that push people to want more and more, far beyond their real needs. The artist worked closely with collaborators from recent years, including band members Marilena Montarone, Tommaso Ruggeri, Diego Maggi, and Alberto Venturini, as well as producers and composers - most notably Gianluigi Fazio, Edwyn Roberts, and Marco Zangirolami. Each song reveals clearly defined layers of time and meaning, developed over time and capable of conveying the full complexity of the artistic journey that brought them to life.
