Ray Fernandez and Frank Ascension (AKA Cirano) were two of the biggest stars of the Miami Cuban music scene in the 1960's and 70's. Following the Cuban embargo of 1959, many great Cuban musicians immigrated to Miami in search of a better life. In the early 60's, the Cuban music scene began to explode and Ray Fernandez and Frank Ascension led the pack. In the late 1960's, these two seasoned veterans joined forces to record this classic album blending Cuban rhythms generated by Ray Fernandez and his group and the masterful vocals of Frank Ascension. The album became a huge favorite among Cuban music fans and is a highly valued collector's item today. Finally available in the digital domain, all selections have been newly remastered.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
