The album "Songs of Protest and Anti-Protest" has caused quite a bit of controversy since it was originally recorded in 1965. The original album by the folk singer / songwriter Chris Ducey, original member of the groups Prairie Madness and the Penny Arkade, was never officially released. The album was released as by Chris Lucey, a fictional name given to singer / songwriter Bobby Jameson who took Ducey's original song titles and wrote entirely new songs using Ducey's original titles. That album became a cult classic and it wasn't until recently that the real truth about the album came to light. Presented here is the real Chris Ducey album originally recorded in 1965, never before released until now, almost 50 years after it was originally recorded, featuring Ducey's original songs accompanied by his own voice and guitar. All selections have been newly remastered.
