In collaboration with Caldo Verde records, Translation Loss Records is extremely proud to announce the vinyl release of Bay Area pianist and composer Chris Connolly's sophomore solo album Alameda. The stunning 11-track set was recorded in Alameda, California in 2014/2015 and follows-up his first solo release Piano Album which was issued in 2009. His primary study of the piano was with master teacher Julian White for over ten years followed by work with Marc Steiner and Sharon Mann. He also plays keyboards and piano in local San Francisco band Desertshore with guitarist Phil Carney and vocalist Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters / Sun Kil Moon).
