As is customary with Cantonese Opera, several of the female roles are performed by men, singing in a distinct, nasal falsetto. The musician's voices soar over the strong tones of the instruments, recalling tales of love, war, and national pride, translated from Cantonese to English in the liner notes.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
