Chico Freeman is a jazz tenor saxophone player who has made many fine albums over the years. Two of those were on the Elektra/Musician label. Tangents from 1984, featuring Bobby McFerrin, and Tradition in Transition from 1982, featuring Jack DeJohnette. Both of these albums are making their CD debuts.
