Led by vocalist / songwriter Eugene Record, the Chicago based Chi-Lites became one of the most successful soul acts in the US scoring 11 Top Ten R&B hits from 1969 to 1974. Their biggest hits came in 1971 and 1972 including "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl", which rose to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in May of 1972. Here the group performs their 1973 hit, "Letter to Myself." Also included is an exclusive TV version which is an instrumental with back-up vocals.
