By the time 'Shout!' hit the racks, in 1968, The Chambers Brothers were on the verge of international success with their psychedelic mega hit "Time Has Come Today". While no precise recording date is known for these recordings, it is presumed that the live material comes from the same cache of nightclub performances that yielded 1967's 'People Get Ready' and 1968's 'Now!'. Seen here transitioning from an old-school R&B and gospel outfit and into a hipper and decidedly more secular soul band 'Shout!' features standout tracks including 'Blues, Get Off My Shoulder', 'Shout' and 'Johnny B. Goode'.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
