A compendium of the early surf sound, this record charts the history of the genre and planted the very roots on which the Southern California scene would grow. With excellent takes of rock & roll staples like 'Red River Rock', and with a nod to Dick Dale and The Beach Boys' 'Surfin' Safari', this is not only an essential and important surf album, but one of the most exciting too.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
