The profile of the early 20th century composer, conductor and pianist Alfredo Casella continues with the fourth captivating volume of orchestral works performed by the BBC Philharmonic conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. Casella's advocacy and enthusiastic promotion of the composers of the Italian Baroque era led to renewed attention to the works of Vivaldi among others. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
