Gerhard's music is inspired by his Catalan roots, and from his exile from 1938) in England. He died just as his true worth as a composer of music in many genres was becoming appreciated. Always wanting to push back the barriers of the musical imagination, his music is seen by some as "hard work" but is in fact very melodic and accessible - invariably worth the effort.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
