In 1960, when the music on this CD was originally recorded and released, Joe and Susie Edwards - Butterbeans & Susie - were on the tail end of a phenomenal 50-year-long career as a husband-and-wife comedy team. During the mid-to-late 1920s, when vaudeville was at it's height, and the TOBA circuit was in it's glory, this duo ruled the whole rowdy world of husband-and-wife comedy. This CD contains the entire original LP plus additional informal dialogue and interviews. Features Eddie Heywood, Leonard Gaskin, Jimmy Crawford, Joe Thomas, Gene Sedric, Benny Morton, Dick Vance, Earl Warren and Dickie Wells.
