Building Babylon at the Bayou showcases some of the earliest live performances from Bad Brains, even pre-dating the band's 1982 self-titled debut. A snapshot of the band's burgeoning beginnings, these recordings from 1980 and 1981 recorded at The Bayou in Washington DC, were captured between the band being unofficially "banned in DC" and relocating to NYC. This is the first non-jazz release by newly formed Time Traveler Recordings. Transferred from the original tapes and mastered by legendary producer Don Zientara, famous for his work with Minor Threat and Fugazi, amongst others. Featuring a booklet with liner notes by Washington Post critic Chris Richards and testimonials from Ian MacKaye, Henry Rollins, Jello Biafra, Vernon Reid, John Joseph as well as previously unseen photographs and ephemera.

I bought it for the BTS interview and pictures and I am not disappointed! The interviews with each member are thoughtful and good. I only wish I could purchase the special edition 8 magazine set.
Haven't watched it yet; I buy LOTS of movies, and it can be weeks, even months, before I get to this one. I like the main actress, having seen her in 2 other films, and was glad to see she's also in one of the other 2 films I ordered from you. All 3 arrived in EXCELLENT condition!!
