Brooks Forsyth is a singer, musician and songwriter from Boone, North Carolina. Brooks' musical style encompasses a variety of genres, particularly within Americana: folk, country blues, bluegrass and roots rock. His versatile guitar style consists of both flatpicking and fingerpicking. So Much Beyond Us, a musically diverse collection of songs, was recorded at the legendary Creative Workshop recording studio in Nashville with producers Buzz and Parker Cason and included a versatile cast of musicians including guitarist Sadler Vaden of Jason Isbell's 400 Unit, Grand Old Opry fiddler Eamon McLoughlin, string player Wanda Vick, bassist Michael Rinne and drummer Jon Radford.
